Terms of Service
Last updated: October 7, 2026
These terms apply to services provided by Sump Pump Installation Toronto ("we", "us" or "our") in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, and to your use of this website. By booking a service or using this site, you agree to them.
1. Services
We provide sump pump and drainage services, including:

2. Assessments and Quotes
In-home assessments are free and carry no obligation. After an assessment we provide a written quote in Canadian dollars (CAD). Published price ranges on this website are guides; your written quote sets the price for the scope described. If we find conditions on install day that could not reasonably be seen at the assessment (for example, a hidden obstruction or damaged pipe), we will explain and agree any change with you before doing extra work.
3. Payment
Payment terms are confirmed in your quote. City of Toronto subsidy applications require an itemized, paid invoice, so the invoice must be paid in full before a subsidy packet can be submitted.
4. Permits, Inspections and the City Subsidy
Where required, we file drain permits with Toronto Building and book inspections. With an eligible install, we prepare and submit Basement Flooding Protection Subsidy paperwork at no charge. The City of Toronto decides all subsidy approvals and amounts; we cannot guarantee approval. The subsidy covers City of Toronto addresses only.
5. Scheduling and Cancellations
Please give at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule a booked install. Emergency dispatch is provided on a best-effort basis; arrival times depend on weather and demand.
6. Workmanship Warranty
We provide a written 2-year workmanship warranty on installations. Equipment is covered by the manufacturer's warranty, which varies by model. The workmanship warranty does not cover damage from misuse, lack of maintenance (such as untested backup batteries), power failures without a backup, or work by others.
7. Limitation of Liability
A sump pump, backup or backwater valve reduces flood risk but cannot eliminate it. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the service involved. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Ontario consumer protection law.
8. Website Content
Content on this site is general information, not a substitute for an on-site assessment. All text, images and graphics are the property of Sump Pump Installation Toronto unless otherwise noted.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted here applies to new bookings.
